Our Pathway to Public Ownership

Our Pathway to Public Ownership

Hello Bring Back British Rail supporters,

This month marks 15 years since the campaign was launched in 2009 with the aim of popularising the idea of bringing our railways back into public ownership.

Now finally we have a pathway to making this happen.

If elected on Thursday, Labour have committed to renationalising the ten rail franchises which are still privately run, when their contracts end (all by 2027).

And then working to re-unify track and train as Great British Railways – the new arm's length public body which will own, plan and run our railways in the public interest.

We'll be working to ensure this happens, and that the profiteering Rolling Stock Companies are also renationalised (this is not currently in Labour's plan).

Please help spread the word by sharing Our Pathway to Public Ownership graphic on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram:
