Michele Morrod, WorthingWe want a decent rail service. We deserve it and God knows we pay enough for it.
Mickey Rooney, GrimsbyLet us end the current rip-off system. Run the railways as a service, not as a way for parasites to make money.
Callum Winfield, IlkestonI am sick of all these foreign businesses abusing the system to milk us of all our hard-earned money. It has to stop being about profit. Make British rail British.
Alan Perkins, CanterburyShort-sighted dogma caused the chaos.
Aaron Smith, EastbourneI can no longer afford to travel by train – thanks Tories. Meanwhile billionaires like Branson get tax payers’ bailouts. Not a travel network but a money laundering scheme.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
