I fully support a properly funded and publicly owned transport system.
Dean Cordwell, StockportI believe that such a compulsory national service should be run by the people and their representatives, not by businessmen for private profit.
Richard Desjardins, Ashby de la ZouchWe know it makes sense.
Ted Ryder, MansfieldBring all of the railway system back into public ownership. It will cost a hell of a lot less than it does now.
Katy Makepeace-Gray, LondonI might have to find a new job if the trains don’t improve.
Natalia Hamon, PenzanceIt is important that our tax money is invested properly in a nationalised, efficient service, affordable to passengers.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
