Campaign against MTR Elizabeth Line

In May 2015, Transport for London awarded the new TfL Rail contract to MTR Corporation, which runs Hong Kong’s Mass Transit Railway. The contract originally comprised the existing “metro” train services between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield. Following the completion of the CrossRail project, it expanded to included the services to Heathrow which now form the new Elizabeth Line. The contract is intended to last for eight years. MTR Corporation also operates the South Western Railway franchise in a joint venture with FirstGroup.

• Do you use the MTR Elizabeth Line service regularly?
• Do you believe it should be returned to public hands as part of a re-unified national rail network run for people not profit?
• Then, why not start a campaign building up to the franchise end?

Bring Back British Rail will support you by promoting your campaign’s details on this website and putting you in touch with other local activists via our Facebook, Twitter and Riseup communities. Please get in touch on the email address below!
