Martin Radbon, WellingRemove the foreign ownership from what should be a public service.
Bryon Bache, CambridgeA brilliant idea – all strength to your arm. Our railways are a disaster.
Pete Jackson, PrestonTransport is a public necessity that is being leeched by the rail companies. Privatisation has failed to produce economies so it’s time to call it quits. Re-nationalise now.
Philip Michaelson, LondonI belong to a walking group of retired people whose organiser suffers because of the disorganisation of the various companies running rail transport in the South-East
Marie Nash, HarrowWe need affordable, reliable rail transport. Privatisation has not given us that.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
