David Cunliffe, St HelensTransport for the people not for private profit
Vince Crosby, Newton AycliffeThe only way to move forward is to take it back into public ownership where the users are the shareholders.
Julie Ward, Bishop AucklandI love travelling by train but hate lining the pockets of fat cats. We want cheap, efficient travel for all with no need for handouts to shareholders. We all own this.
Gareth Brading, WitneyWhy spend more on private railways when nationalised ones would be cheaper? Re-nationalise.
Ryab Nicholson, GooleNationalise everything. I’m sick to death with being ripped off.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
