Trev Davis, GloucesterThis would stop us being ripped off by all the different train companies and the profits staying in this country.
David O’Driscoll, LondonYou know it makes sense.
Craig Hurle, HarrogateThe best example of this is the East Coast Main line. Bring back British Rail and save our railways.
Martin Egan, TorbayIf Mr Miliband tore up his advisers’ scripts and enunciated this as a serious aim for next year he could just win to give this notion real traction.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
