Isn’t it obvious?
Graham Sessions, CullomptonRail travel should be unified, convenient, affordable, synchronized and fares standardised.
Sam Skinner, LondonBring back national rail. The network should be unified. More and more we see that competition and market forces lead to disunity, crisis and profiteering. Nationalise.
Dominic Hipkins, PrestonAny country which can’t run its own rail network effectively has no business telling others how to run their affairs.
Ronald Donnelly, LondonPrivatisation has patently not worked.
Sophie Ramsay, LondonI love trains but I hate how much they cost these days. It’s pretty hard to persuade people to be climate-friendly when planes are often cheaper.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
