Mark Donoghue, DartfordPublic services are not for profit.
John Goosetree, SpaldingGet all railway out of hands of greedy stockholders.
Stefano Giussani, Lecco, ItalyItaly has not learned the lesson. It is making the same mistake. I hope Britain understands that its railway system is a national treasure. Bring back British Rail.
Jessica Oliver, Bognor RegisPrices are disgusting nowadays, even with my Railcard. Southern Rail are selfish and don’t care about their customers.
Chris Randall, TwickenhamWe all criticised British Rail when it was running the railways but, after privatisation, look at the expensive mess it’s in now.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
