Davis Wilkie, EdinburghWe the people would very much like to see the railways re-nationalised. More focus on good service and profit being put into improvements rather than shareholders’ pockets
Paul Johnson, ChelmsfordBR may not have been perfect, but at least it got people to their destination, with very limited government funds.
Dave Devaney, LiverpoolPlease re-nationalise our railway lines.
Louise Allison, FalkirkAbsolute shambles. I support anything that’ll make my commute safer.
Julia Inch, EnfieldBritish Rail belonged to us before the sell-off and privatisation but we want it back nationalised and belonging to us again.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
