Bring back British Rail.
Ross Taylor, HinckleyI completely agree with British Rail and I believe that privatisation has not served the purpose it was meant to.
Andrew Stewart-Wright, RugbyMore money has been wasted on consultants and legal fees that could have been spent on Rail. It would be great if we had this wasted money spent on rail instead.
David Henderson, BirminghamPrivate companies receive more in subsidies than BR ever did, but is the service any better? No.
Marie Gilman, RotherhamOne unified organisation is what we need. It should never have been privatised.
Hugh Daniels, HenfieldWhatever happened to plans for a mixed economy, combining the best of private and publicly owned services?

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
