Undo what is the world’s greatest train robbery.
Helen Field, SouthamptonIt’s absolute common sense. I’m going to share “Bring back British Rail” as far and wide as I possibly can.
Lee Featherstone, CroydonI grew up in rural Kent in the 80’s and became a commuter to Central London. The trains were old but the service under BR was reliable- Now is a disgrace.
David Pardy, ChristchurchWe need a national rail operator. In a small way East Coast Trains have shown what high standards can be achieved outside the private sector.
Frank Lawson, HalifaxThe privatisation of our railways by the Thatcherite Tories has been a theft of massive proportions that must be reversed. It was totally immoral.
David Pearce, LondonAs a supporter of TUSC, I am 150% behind re-nationalising state infrastructure, including BR.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
