Konnie Lloyd, NottinghamThe East Coast line has demonstrated how a well run line can satisfy its customers and put its profits into the Exchequer. What more do you want?
Mark Andresen, PaigntonPeople not entitled to claim, or unable to afford, season tickets, are now getting cut off from visiting out-of-county friends due to ticket costs.
Janet Mobbs, StockportThe railways are too important to our economy to be run on market forces. They should be there to deliver a service, not to make private profit.
George Holmes, SaddleworthA six mile journey on my rural Yorkshire line costs Β£5.80 for a single (Greenfield to Marsden) and the service is only one train per hour. BBBR!
Robert Sissons, FolkestoneFor me one of the worst things about our privatised railway system is the ludicrous fare structure, whereby a ticket purchased shortly before travel costs a fortune.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
