Martin Powell, Hesket-New-MarketCheaper fares, less overcrowding, safety and more trains.
Jayne Smith, BridportBring the railways back to more rural areas as many lines are still there. It would help get freight off the roads too.
David Hughes, PontefractPeople should not be fleeced for needing public transport to get to work. How can the rail operators defend their extortionate price rises when services are getting worse?
Steven Gergus, BoltonWhat can I say, really?
Max Davidson, St. NeotsThe glaring financial success and fantastic service offered by the East Coast line was a great stepping stone to a nationalised service throughout a modern Britain.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
