Glyn Pope, BarryI am at a complete loss as to why we have these different companies. People should be encouraged to use public transport, to save the pollution of their own cars.
Stephen Godden, Port TalbotI’m old enough to remember just getting the train to go somewhere and getting there for a fair price without hassle, and without having to buy a ticket six weeks in advance.
Michael Scott, YorkDaughter currently on train from York to King’s Cross taking 3 hrs plus due to works. £128 and just told that she may be charged more to stand in first class vestibule.
Antony Perry, LondonEnough is enough, sometimes society needs to consider issues from other than a profit standpoint and our rail is one such.
Mark Horton, BathSoon after privatisation, how many politicians ended up on boards and as shareholders?

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
