Pippa Smith, BristolI am a full-time support worker, working 42 hrs/week on minimum wage. Put simply, I cannot afford to use the train.
Mike Parkinson, HarrowThe brief but successful nationalisation of the East Coast franchise proves that public ownership is best. Down with private profit from our nation’s essential services.
Nicholas Mills, SwanseaAs a young person living quite a distance from larger cities such as Bristol or Birmingham, I can’t really go with the prices being so high.
Steve Smith, Dorchesterits about time you politicians did something right for ordinary hard-up people.
Laurence Hunt, BirminghamWe the people deserve an efficient, affordable and reliable transport system. That’s not too much to ask.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
