I loved British Rail. Bring it back now.
Chris Martin, WorcestershireA unified railway, with a much simplified fares structure, would be the best thing that could happen to this country.
Roger Greeff, SheffieldEast Coast is a good example.
Keith Lewis, CardiffAn integrated, modernised railway system should be for the benefit of all the nation, not just shareholders and rich executives.
David Cook, OakhamThe present system is crazy.
Michael Perkins, WatfordThe idiotic private sector train companies need to go and be replaced with British Rail. Keep the private sector out of public services.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
