Privatisation only benefits the rich.
Lewis Hart, St. AlbansI am a member of UKIP, yet both I and some of my friends who are further right than the Tories agree nationalisation of the rails is necessary. This appeals to everyone.
George Bryant, RedhillBring back British Rail and end big profits for the worst service.
Jonathan Hopkins, HarrogateRail privatisation was a fine example of the reverse Robin Hood mentality of the Tory party.
Stephen Ranger, BrightonDirectly Operated Railways have shown us that a government-run railway service (East Coast) can be operated safely and with profit. What’s going on?
Tero Sansom, Canvey IslandI don’t have a station near me to attend but will follow you to help when I can.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
