If there’s profit to be made, then the profit should belong to the people and be further invested into improving the facilities for the better of us all.

Re-nationalise the rail system.
The train prices are disgraceful for the poor quality we receive. In Europe you’d secure luxury first-class with service accommodation for the equivalent costs.
The rail system is a national asset, not a speculators’ plaything.
