Why should the UK have the most expensive and least attractive trains in Europe?

Amy Wildman, EssexI’m a commuter on the Southminster Greater Anglia service. It’s overpriced, dirty, regularly late or cancelled and there’s a lack of trains for this line. Overall it’s an awful service.
