Rosalind Collier, BristolI grew up with British Rail and was not happy when it was sold off.
John Dannell, DurhamI totally agree with all the comments. I’m sick of getting ripped off by privatised companies with late, packed, dirty trains.
Malcolm Whitmore, LoughboroughRail policy needs to be determined by the collective interest of the country not the short term gain of shareholders.
Edith Howse, PrudhoeOK to do this, but I want to see high standards – not sloppy the way it used to be.
Brandon Nicholls, ManchesterBritish rail was the best and most reliable railway we ever had in this country. We need our railway back now!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
