Vincent Barker, NorthamptonEven with a 16-25 railcard I can barely afford to travel by train to work. There’s barely any point in my travelling to work with the amount I spend on train fares.
Darren Skeet, PitseaPrivate railway companies have over-inflated prices for far too long. We need to try something else.
John Bramhall, NewburyThe current situation is ridiculous. Prices go up and the service doesn’t improve.
Chirag Batavia, LondonRail travel should be affordable for ordinary people. No more over-inflation price hikes.
Andrew Emerson, PortsmouthAs they are the rail companies have to be bailed out by the tax-payer.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
