We are subsidising private railways for private profit. Let’s re-nationalise for public benefit.
Natalie Clarke, LondonEnd privatisation.
Vera Kempe, StonehavenRe-nationalisation should improve the (practically non-existent) service and make operating the rail system more efficient. It’s an absolute disgrace at present.
Joel Metcalf, EpsomNo more bad services and high prices.
Christopher Flossman, BristolMake the railways work for the commuters, not the corporate profiteers. Vote Green.
John Walker, ColchesterThe railways need to be re-nationalised – the investment in our network needs to be overhauled. We invented the railways, let’s make it the envy of the World again!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
