The railways were taken into public ownership because the private sector was in an absolute mess and so the railways are again in an absolute mess.

  • Privatisation of the rail network is not benefitting the rail user. Too much money is syphoned off to shareholders – even huge chunks of the current government subsidy.

    The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
