Privatisation has been a disaster.
Malcolm Gibbons, TelfordIf there is profit to be made then we need to feed that back into the country’s coffers.
Carolyn Mayne, GuildfordWe need a public service, run for the public with the interests of passengers, not shareholders, at heart.
Sean Kelly, LoughboroughThe current situation is out of control. Let’s use the rail service as a tool for building a future for Britain.
Brian Hamill, BallymenaIt is high time the government started to provide efficient and effective railway transport in the UK.
David SterrattAs well as the high fares and fragmented network, it is the sheer inefficiency and cost of privatisation that annoys me.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
