Bring rail services back into public ownership.
Sarah Patton, HaslemereIt’s time all public services returned to being just that, not private profit-making enterprises.
Paul AhdalCramming passengers into undersized carriages and providing an awful service whilst making millions for shareholders is unacceptable.
Maria Harlan, St. AlbansAnybody travelling around Europe becomes aware how shamefully overpriced British Rail has become. It has nothing to do with a service any more.
Ben Walsh, CambridgeI wish to see the railways re-nationalised, because it will be back as a service for the public, rather than a source of cash for the rich.
Charlie Sutherland-Boyce, LivingstonDespite the curly sandwiches, they still provide a cheaper and more efficient service.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
