Malcolm Smith, RotherhamIt is imperative the railways are re-nationalised. Millions are given to the private franchise companies anyway and the profits go to shareholders.
Dhilllon Bainsford, ManchesterOur train service is non-existent. Delays, cancellations, strikes.
Brandon Nicholls, ManchesterBritish rail was the best and most reliable railway we ever had in this country. We need our railway back now!
Glyn Pope, BarryI am at a complete loss as to why we have these different companies. People should be encouraged to use public transport, to save the pollution of their own cars.
Susan Golden, BridgwaterYes please. Let’s guard our rail assets.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
