Bring back British Rail. Much more reliable.
Elaine Armstrong, Newcastle-upon-TyneThe rail services have deteriorated enormously since privatisation and fares just go up and up. Privatisation equals bad service, full stop.
Wendy Gibson, BriggThe Government proved on the East Coast line that the railway makes a lot of money so why are they giving it away?
Colton McKenna, KilwinningThe British people deserve British Rail back.
Naomi Brown, SouthamptonGive the railways back to the public. Private ownership doesn’t work. It’s not a new idea and it can be done with next to no cost. What are they playing at?
Gavin Hudson, SheffieldI couldn’t take a job with a £7K pay rise because I would have had to travel to London two days a week, which made me £200 a month worse off even after the pay rise.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
