Rail travel should be unified, convenient, affordable, synchronized and fares standardised.

We have suffered for far too long with an inadequate and exorbitantly overpriced rail service. Year on year we pay more for a service that is failing us at every corner.

The line I use was run by Network South East in the early 90s, which was a brilliant service, then rubbish Connex took over and now South Eastern Trains.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
