Joe Kinglake, ManchesterWithout a doubt the most unreliable trains I’ve ever experienced in the world. Terrible fare rip-off for terrible service.
Greg Marshall, NottinghamStop profiteers making a packet out of ordinary people.
John Madden, DarlingtonAs someone born in the cradle of railways, it appals me the way private companies rip off passengers. We need a united framework in public control.
Tom Black, OxfordI have been a rail user all my life and have never seen the system improve, not one bit, in any way and most of my use has been since privatisation.
Caroline Aperguis, NottinghamWe want a joined-up service that is not about companies competing to make huge profits from the passengers who have no choice in how they travel.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
