Anything would be better than the utter shambles that is Southern.
Stephen Shaw, LesmahagowVery expensive.
Dan Edwards, LondonThe privatisation of public services was and is the most short-sighted planning possible. Bring them back and put the profits back into society, not private pockets.
Stephanie Potts, NorwichThis country needs an integrated and unified rail system run for public benefit not a host of private companies making profit for shareholders.
Peter Horton, TwickenhamThe huge amount of profit that these privatised rail companies make is ridiculous, yet they still put up prices by as much as they can get away with each year.
Luke Sampson, EdinburghI am Scottish, but I use English rail a lot. Prices are unreasonable and efficiency is nil compared to ScotRail. Bring back British Rail!

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
