Stop privatising our services.
Jennifer Carpenter, SheffieldA publicly owned railway would be able to integrate services and be more answerable to passengers. It works in France and Italy.
Paul Unwin, DerbyIt would be nice not to have to travel through 2 other counties on 3 different trains to get to another Station in the same county. Bring back the Matlock to Buxton line.
Jaki Spencer, PontefractKeep private hands off our rail network. I do not want private companies paying shareholders at the expense of services and increased rail fares.
Alice SavilleThe train ticket lottery is madness, and the obvious lack of true competition between companies is hindering rail transport development.
Matthew Plews, DealWe need to re-nationalise and take control of our railways.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
