Railways should be an affordable service and not for private profit.
Richard Aspin, BlackburnI would really like to be an active member and see the return of public rail services. I have travelled thousands of miles under private rail and public rail.
Richard Apperley, Newcastle-upon-TyneI need an easy-to-use rail system where I can be confident that the ticket I buy will let me on any train going to my chosen destination.
Esther Lusty, DurhamIf we are trying to live a greener life and one that is not too costly then why are we privatising?
Chris Langridge, MarlowThe government still pays for maintenance, improvements and extensions to the rail network. The franchisers aren’t investing as they agreed to in the contract tenders,
Julian Wilson, TonbridgeI know a few of us re-nationalisers round here. Could we hold a meeting or action?

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
