Bring back BR.
Put passengers before profits. We’re the only country in Europe that has a privately-run national railway network, with poor governmental control and ‘toothless’ regulators.
The money earned from an integrated system should be used to invest in government and the railways themselves instead of lining the pockets of shareholders.
We subsidise the private companies when they make a loss and they keep the money if they make a profit. Why would we not re-nationalise?
