Current railways are a mess and confusing.
Michael Timoney, WatfordTo maintain/build a world class transport solution, while protecting the livelihoods of future families (reasonable ticket prices/employment) we require one public body.
Deborah Lee, Weston-super-MareThe evidence speaks for itself and the public and taxpayer would reap the benefits.
Martin Egan, TorbayIf Mr Miliband tore up his advisers’ scripts and enunciated this as a serious aim for next year he could just win to give this notion real traction.
Thomas Wilson, GravesendTaxpayers paid for it and we pay the MPs, yet they want to sell everything for profit.
Chris Hogg, Melton MowbrayI’m a signaller for 35 years. Re-nationalise to prevent the madness of hundreds of companies working against each other.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
