I use the trains every day. I’m sick of greedy private sector companies cheating travellers with constant overpriced and poor services.

Chris and Rosemary Staddon, NottinghamOur rail network needs coherence which is not possible with too many privatised bits
Josephine Keers, BeaworthyI actually live in Halwill Junction. Previously I lived down the road at Bude. It used to be so easy to get to Exeter and beyond when there was a railway back in the 60s.
Marie Mcguirl, Clacton-on-SeaPrivatisation has not improved any of our services and the fares keep increasing. They are all in it for profit and their customers who have to rely on these services are not served well.
Dan Garraway, ChippenhamI love trains, but I don’t like the state of trains in this country. The GWR class 801s are especially shocking – first class doesn’t even have a biscuit on offer sometimes.
Matthew Navin, ManchesterRail for the people.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
