A publicly owned railway system will be better, and cheaper, for passengers and railway workers.
Keep East Coast in public hands.
Ordinary people pay for the railways through fares and subsidy. Why can’t they be run for our benefit?
I totally agree the money being given to the private operators should be used to improve the network.
It should never have been sold off in the first place. We owned it, why did we need the chance to buy something we already owned. It was all about giving it to the rich.

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
