Network Rail are hopeless.
Shaun Reid, South ShieldsA publicly owned East Coast Line shows how a rail service can make money for the nation and not for the few.
Thomas Stacey, RuthinReturn railways and service industries to public ownership, for the benefit of the people of the UK and not foreign-owned businesses.
Robin Carmichael, LeedsSurely it is common sense for some of our transport system to be publicly owned.
Stephen Lauder, WatfordThe private train operating companies should be nationalised when their contracts are up for renewal, then aim for similar standards as in France, Germany and Switzerland.
Amy Sargent, PortsmouthI would like to ask my local MP, Penny Mordaunt (Con) to actually speak out and call for a motion on this. The saving and benefits are undeniable.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
