It ran like clock-work before and it could do again. All we have to do is look at what China has done. If they can do it, so can we.
Give us back our railways.
In East Anglia we once had a great train service under British Rail. The trains were clean and reliable. Now they are always late or cancelled.
We need completely joined up railways with all profit reinvested.
I don’t agree with it being a public sector run thing, but I do think that infrastructure should be not-for-profit.

Privatizing has buggered up the electricity industry, the gas industry, the water industry and the waste disposal industry too. Some things should be considered a service and run to provide just that at an economic cost not a way of milking the end users.
