Colin Fribbens, ExeterBritish Rail should be owned by the people and make enough profit to keep it first class for all users, not shareholders.
Victor Meldrew, Shoreham-by-SeaThe railways have been messed about since the 90s. Connex and Southern are both awful. BR might not have been great but it was a damn sight better than this.
Donna Ainsworth, LeatherheadI am tired of being late for work, late getting home, waiting nervously for trains at unmanned stations, and having no toilets or waiting rooms open on a cold night.
Karen Robertson, EdinburghAll profits should be invested in the services, not given to shareholders.
Jez Hall, St NeotsSlam doors.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
