Benjamin Glatz, LondonRail travel should be a public service run at cost rather than lining the pockets of a few at the expense of the majority.
Danny Pritchard, LondonIf the government had pumped as much into British Rail as they have into all the private companies, we’d have the best bloody train system in the world.
Richard Baxendale, LondonRe-nationalise now.
Neal Wright, PenzancePlease – a nationalised, efficient, re-vitalised railway with a large public investment for the future.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
