I am completely for this. As someone who uses a number of UK rail operators in a single day to get to university, this really affects me.

Ian Buckley, WatfordIt would be better off re-nationalised. More efficient, more homogenous and any profits going back to the Treasury.
Mary Andrews, PortsmouthTo travel by rail is too expensive. Some corporation is getting richer off the backs of people who need to travel by rail. It has got to stop and the railways given back.
Julie Ward, Bishop AucklandI love travelling by train but hate lining the pockets of fat cats. We want cheap, efficient travel for all with no need for handouts to shareholders. We all own this.
Brian Stephens, SunderlandTax payers paid for British Rail and they have a say in what to do with BR, not money grabbing MPs.
Carroll Barham, LancingI thought railway privatisation was a poor idea when proposed. The reality has if anything proven to be worse and more expensive than I feared.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
