Michael Morgan, CinderfordThe privatisation of BR was botched from the start and only favours shareholders, not the travelling public. Bring back BR.
James Henry, LadybankEven were we to (hopefully) gain independence.
Gareth Ayre, DurhamIt was just better. Sort it out Whitehall.
James Anderson, CarnoustieI no longer take the train because you need to buy tickets weeks ahead in order to afford them.
Michael Dunne, DarlingtonNearly every European country has its state-owned railway. We should have the same, run for the people not fat cats taking all the profits.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
