Stephen Cole, IpswichThe privatisation is a disaster, with extortionate prices and poor service in return.
Edwin Robinson, DoncasterI’m with you.
Rita Cocking, PlymouthThe railways have been going downhill since the days of the dreaded Dr Beeching. Why should we be the only country that has to pay over the odds to travel by rail?
Gareth Greatorex, Leighton BuzzardDo it.
Matt Egerton, ManchesterI totally agree with this. Get rid of the shambles that is the present system. I’m a steam enthusiast and would love to see some real British heritage brought back.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
