Naomi Quinn, Greater ManchesterThe current system is a disgrace, with customers exploited and victimised for profit. Train companies use their legal advantage to extort huge sums for innocent mistakes.
Ellen Blakemore, BrightonThe railways in the UK need to be brought into the 21st century. We need paperless, at cost, reliable travel, not the confusing, expensive and inefficiency we now have.
James Fyrth, ReadingAnother failed endeavour where profit is put ahead of people. It’s totally unfit for purpose and should be run for the people who use it.
Oscar Wallace, LiverpoolThe current situation is nonsensical except to those private profiteers who are running the railways at a sub-par standard. Bring back British Rail.
Graham Geary, DurhamWe are a small island which had an integrated rail system. To turn that into over 100 companies was such obviously stupid behaviour as to beggar belief. Correct it.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
