There has to be a better way to organise our national rail service than as it is now.

It is completely immoral when huge profits for shareholders are made at the expense of the public. This government should be sacked for re-privatising East Coast Trains.

Fares need reducing and additional carriages added during busy periods. Passengers having to pay for the privilege of standing for the entire journey is simply wrong.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
