Callum Hancock, StranraerI want to see the railways act like a service for passengers instead of a business for customers.
S TuffhamThe government had no right to privatise British Rail – and without our permission. Where does Cameron get off?
Owen Thomson, AberdeenThese vultures are burning far more public money than BR ever did (and it’s all going into private pockets.)
Bob Harrold, StotfoldI’m not disgruntled, but the money that goes into profits for companies that carry little risk could be going into the rail network.
Louise Allison, FalkirkAbsolute shambles. I support anything that’ll make my commute safer.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
