Everything was so much better under British Rail. You didn’t need to know which train operating company you had to use because it was all British Rail.

  • As you can see, Plymouth and Cornwall are at the backend of beyond according to those who run the railways. Anything south of Bristol does not exist. Enough said.

Great to see Liverpool City Region Combined Authority agree plans to take Merseyrail back into public ownership when the Serco/Transport UK contract ends in 2028 👏🚆 But there's still a big loophole in the #RailwaysBill meaning a future Mayor could easily re-privatise it 🤦‍♂️
