Julia Parsons, LondonNationalise railway, water and fuel.
Andrew Richmond, BoltonI work on the railways, just as I did under British Rail. It was a terrible day when Mr Major swung his privatisation axe and the scars are still there for all to see.
Diane Simmons, DerbyThe present system is not working. Fares are sky high but the trains are over-crowded, late and dirty. The public is being short changed. Bring back British Rail.
Adam Stock, NewcastleLet’s stop the corporate benefits that gives us poor management, rip-off fares and a terrible ticketing system. Re-nationalise now.
Jane Worsnop, AscotInefficient, uncomfortable and environmentally unfriendly, the privatised railway system is good only for the shareholders.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
