Michael Rose, AberystwythI agree fully. What we have is pointlessly expensive and complicated. Why, for example, is it cheaper to get multiple tickets for bits of a journey than buy one?
Kevin Morrison, BlackpoolStop the wasteful fragmentation of our railways. Put the mega-profits back into the infrastructure to improve services.
Chris Nicoll, Berwick-upon-TweedEverything in the ‘We are the collective’ statement rings true.
Jill Westendorp, Lyme RegisIt’s about time this happened – the privatisation of the railways/electricity and gas/water was the worst thing to happen. Give them all back.
Catherine Adamson, CoventryGet on any train with any ticket would be wonderful. l don’t care if the coffee wasn’t good.

Bring Back British Rail is coordinated from Glasgow by Ellie Harrison, with the help of a small network of volunteers around the UK.
The campaign operates as a ‘non-charitable campaigning body’ and so is free to carry out political activity and act as a pressure group.
It aims to be a completely autonomous and transparent passenger-led organisation, which has no direct affiliation with any political parties.
